Fans have been waiting for an announcement related to the second part of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, but during the State of Play today, no mention of a sequel was revealed, however, there was some news that should have fans excited.įinal Fantasy 7 Remake released before the PS5 launched worldwide, so the game doesn't take much advantage of the next-gen console's power and capabilities, but Square Enix has announced that the title will be getting a PS5 version in June titled Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade that will have faster loading times, improved textures, improved lighting, quality of life features, a performance optimization mode, a new difficulty mode, and even a new photo mode.
It was an exemplary remake of the PS1 classic, but the remake only covered a small portion of the iconic JRPG. Final Fantasy 7 Remake launched for the PS4 as a timed exclusive in 2020 and received mostly positive reception.
